Mr. Sun also discovered that the Feng Shui was unbalanced in that they had a large window facing their entry. This caused all their money to, "come in the door and leave out the window". Mr. Sun instructed the business partners to install heavy, burgundy curtains to cover the large window. Although hesitant to spend the money on the expensive curtains, they did so, and within two months found their business flourishing.

Testimonial from Quality Suites
A number of years ago, Mr. Sun received a call from Quality Suites in Irvine. The two men who partnered and opened the business were experiencing a loss of money in their hotel and requested Mr. Sun to assess the situation.

Mr. Sun visited their hotel and found that the building incorporated both Western and Chinese architectural elements. Though this does not seem like an uncommon architectural idea, the materials that were used in this structure were cheap and were making the structure unbalanced. One of these features was the use of large, steel nails. Mr. Sun compared them to coffin nails and said that soon their business would be "dead".
